    Question Visual C++ 6.0

    What is the difference between Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 Standard and Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 Learner's Edition?

    they are the same, except standard has more options, and doesnt come up with a popup when you start your program saying "this program was made with MS Visual C++...", but other then that (to my knowledge) they are the same...I have the introductory edition now (ive had it forever) and im hoping to get the full for christmas

    One difference is that the Learners Edition doesn't allow you to make release builds. That means you can't make an .exe file to distribute or sell.

    Is it true that they stopped making the standard edition?
