    How can I read the amount of memory there is, and the amount of memory is being used?

    Please help, August.

    The amount of real memory in your real machine?
    Or the amount of virtual memory in the virtual machine that the OS lets your program run in?

    I am not sure what you mean.

    The Win2000pro task manager displays what I want under "Physical Memory(K)".

    you can use GlobalMemoryStatusEx on 2k and up
