I know Java is usually the best way to go since each phone is made differently, setting a need for portability so the same program can be used. However, is C/C++ useful for mobile programming?

eVC++ 4.0 comiler does -- get it free from Microsoft
And this is for unmanaged C++?
could someone tell me what mobile programming is?
Cell phone applications, basically.
I'll try...I think in this case..by mobile we mean how many operating systems can the program run under?...if thats the case well Java is a very mobile programming language becasue java has this "fake" virtual operating system that you can install on other operating systems...making java usable on mac, linux, windows, and even cellphones.Originally Posted by orion-
