Thread: Which compiler?

    Post Which compiler?

What is a good, easy-to-use compiler for C++ ? I want one that can do almost everything though.

Sorry, I should have searched first.

From what I have read now, it sounds like Microsoft Visual C++ is the way to go for a person who likes windows. I want to try and learn C++ because I eventually want to get into game design ( I am 14 now so I might as well start in my spare time ).

    Borland Works Well

It is great with window programming and game programming, plus its free. You can do Direct X or Open Gl programming and almost all visual c++ examples will work on it. I dont know the exact site but a search will tell you.

One more thing, if you are looking to program for Linux, use g++ or KDevelop. They come with most Linux distros.

What will people do if they find that it's true?
I don't really care if they label me a Jesus freak, there is no disguising the truth!
