    MD5 Sum

When you download something big from the net the website offers you the MD5 sum to check if everything was downloaded correct. Well my question is: How can I get the size in bytes of a file? I would then transform it with MD5 and check if it's correct! I just don't get how to get the size, is there any function?

istream::seekg() to the end of the file. Get filelength from istream::tellg()
