    can someone give me an example of how to use it properly?
    I can't seem to get it working.
    I just want to make the window always on top.

    Maybe something like:

    SetWindowPos(hwnd, HWND_TOPMOST, 0, 0, 0, 0, SWP_NOMOVE | SWP_NOSIZE | SWP_SHOWWINDOW);
    If not, then look up the parameters it takes on MSDN and experiment.
