Not in console programming. Once you get into winAPI programming you'll have more control over your window properties.

There is a way of doing it, you have to include the windows header file (windows.h) and the type the following:
system("mode con:lines=40");
system("mode con:cols=100");
The numbers are just examples, but you get the idea...
