    quick question

    using setw(10) it sets
    10 characters wide or whatever but it starts from the back
    is there a way to do it from the front, so say 10 charcters from the front letter, till the next statment?

    use the ostream::flags() member function, ie:

    stream.flags(ios::right);
    Code:
    #include <cmath>
    #include <complex>
    bool euler_flip(bool value)
    {
        return std::pow
        (
            std::complex<float>(std::exp(1.0)),
            std::complex<float>(0, 1)
            * std::complex<float>(std::atan(1.0)
            *(1 << (value + 2)))
        ).real() < 0;
    }
