Looking for LA area programmers to make a demo for an RPG!!
Hello, my name is Al Gonzalez.
I am a fledgling game designer with no knowledge of how to program. Me and a friend have been working on a new RPG in paper and pencil for about two years now. I do the artwork and graphic design, and he does music.
The concepts and look of the game have already been ironed out. Even the battle system has been worked out in paper and pencil.
We would perfer students who are talented in programming and can utilize Direct X and polygonal graphics, who are willing to work for free, and want a very nice project for thier portfolio.
Credit will be given where credit is due, and if we submit the demo to a company and they like it, we will try to bring as many of the people who worked on the demo as we can with us to start a game company (possibly).
If you are interested, please e-mail
[email protected]
about the project.
Thank you for your time.

:sigh: What's to be the policy with these?
Note to author: Good luck, but you're gonna want programming experience to help run a team of programmers, if not just to understand about how programming works and the amount of time it takes to write a program this size. It's nice that you all know what you want to do. That's the first step. Programming is a very, very, large jump.

I'm still just getting started in the world of programming. From what I know so far it takes alot of work to really excel in programming. For what your asking, I highly doubt you will find anyone to program for free. I do hope you find someone so you didn't just waste two years of your life. Why don't you try and take the idea and artwork to a game dev and see if they will "buy" your idea for a game. You should probably leave the programming upto them.
