Thread: MYSQL++ Header Question

    I tired there example program and it didn't work. I think I'm just going to learn all the mysql functions, make a program, and see if it works.

    Yeah, but I think it's for Linux because it's the exact one I downloaded to start off with and calls for Linux functions.

    Looking through the documentation on the site and on the list it appears that there is only one version that comes in source format. You compile it so that the libraries and such are in your machine's format. They state that it will work with Borland and VS but there are some limitations (such as the age of the compiler). Dev-C++ can work with makefiles not sure about it using configure.
    Obviously they are targetting Linux users since its an open source project and Linux is a superiour operating system
