    since when is "using namespace std;" not recommended? foobar!
    do you even know the difference between having "using std::foo;" and using "std::" before every "foo" command? i bet you dont :-P

    dont force your personal opinion on others without some sort of reasonable basis or explanation. I understand the differences and advantages to one method vs the others, but the people you suggest these things to might not.
