I'm trying to get the example program from the book Inside Com chapter 7 working.The error I get when I run the program is can't create component.This is what I did.I made one change to the source which I found at microsoft, then built the dll and manually
registered with regsvr32.exe which appeared to work ok,I could see the entry in the registry.Then built the client but when I run it
I get the can't create component error.I then manually registered
the dll that came with the book and ran with the client that I built and it works.I've looked through the code but have no idea where the error is.Can anyone who owns this book and has completed this example advise where I'm going wrong.
