    Moving On

I've been doing DOS C++ for about a year now, but now I want to learn DirectX 9 programming. I have experience in DarkBASIC as well as DOS C++. Can anybody suggest any good books for me?

Look on Amazon - some of the best books might be there.

I looked, but the reviews were either bad for most, or said "not for beginners" for the only good one. Are there any online tutorials?

Maybe because they're tired of saying STFBoard.
Anyhow, most beginners would grab 'Teach Yourself Game Programming with DirectX in 21 Days'

Well I always like to goto the source.

Not saying that Microsoft has the best documentation but i have learned a lot reading through it.

Now I know what doesn't work.

Thanks, guys! I'm going to try to start on the online tutorial, but if that doesn't work, I'll grab a book.
