Does anyone know what the code is for excluding anything besides numbers and math operators?

could you please explain more what you mean by "excluding" ?
do you mean that you want C++ to recognize only math operators and functions?

I'm not sure if this is what you want, but math functions are located in:

    math.h -- old headers
cmath -- new headers in std namespace

Do you mean restrict input to mathematical symbols only?

Perhaps Soccerman1234 could start a new thread and leave the code attached for comments.
