    opening an external application

    i am making a program that is like a fancy notepad and i want a shortcut key to open up IE and every refresh it if it's open. i know how to open it but i don't know how to refresh it. can any one help me

    If you're making a Notepad program you should take this to the windows board.

    Often, when reopening an already open browser, instead of opening, the browser will just take the page passed to it as an argument, and open that in the already open window.

    sorry if it seems as if i'm bumping but it's just that i've been away for a while.

    sorry if it's in the wrong fourm it's just that i'm programming it it in c++ so i presumed it went in the c++ forum.

    i just reailised that i actually dion't know how to open it to a certain webpage. could someone tell me how please?
