    Link Validation

    Hello,

    I was wondering is there way to use C++ to test if a site returns a 404?

    I'm not sure if C++ can access the internet...

    Well, the browsers are written in Win32 API, right? Do they access the internet through Windows commands or C++ Console commands?

    Sockets. If your on a Windows platform, search Google for "WinSock".

    Only Windows browsers.

    If you want a sockets library, you might search Sourceforge.
