    Getting Started?

Well I am a newbie wanting to learn C++. I normally do web design but I have been interested in programming. I downloaded Dev-C++ 4.9.8.0 as my compiler. Could someone help me get started, or give me some good links for tutorials? Thanks in advance.

To learn a language, you need a good reference book, a tutorial, and practice programs with model answers. "Ivor Horton's Beginning C++" is a very good book in all those respects.
