    checking available temp memory

    i was wondering if you could check all the usable/availible temproary memory on a computer system. this check would return the amount (int or float) of memory a program could take up...

    Indeed you can do this. But I can't go into much detail without knowing what OS you are writing your programs under. In windows you can always use GlobalMemoryStatus().

    i'm writing it under microsoft XP Pro, but plan to use it on windows 95...
