Here's the code... I wrote it all for about an hour, and then I realised. The function I was using to calculate the hours was actually using chars. So when I wrote the comparisons they were int to chars... anyway I can revive my code? Check it out.

Why do so many people who program like star trek?
I think it is one of the stupidest shows, I would think that the more technical a person is, the less they would be interested in made-up fantasy type stuff, but apparently that isn't the case.
Anyone know the reason for all the trekkie programmers?
totally off topic but.... i dont like star trek but i have seen it and the "fantasy" science in that show is actually based on working theories in physics/astro-physics which is moderatly interesting. other than that. i have nooooo idea.

I like all that fantasy stuff, it's quite entertaining, but what disturbs me are the fanatical freaks who completely attach themselves to these types of things. Some of these "trekkies" may seem very technical, but perhaps they've learned all their scientific facts from the show
