    basic animation program

Is is possible somebody could make a program which accesses .jpgs from a folder, and displays them (in numerical sequence) like a screensaver or something, at a rate of 20 per second?

And what would it take to convince somebody to do that?

Well, First you'd have to brainwash someone so he forgets the
boards rules (dont request program being written for you).

Nobody would want to make that program especially for you, please respect that

It is not lazy-evaluation on your part but just plain simple getting your work done by other's -- a lethal sin --

I didn't ask you to make me an animated film. I just asked for a simple program which pops up .jpgs

If you don't know how to make it, how can you claim it's a 'simple program'. For all you know, it might take weeks.

Either way, people aren't here to make your programs for you. They'll help you if you get stuck but they won't write the whole thing.

Everyone here will be willing to help you. Start by getting the basics of the program together and as and when you encounter problems and/or things you don't understand, post your code and people will give advice.

Look it up on google, try "Displaying JPEGs, C++". The reason why tere is a rule is also to help people solve there own problems. You dont see John Carmack or Bill Gates calling up a friend saying, "Make me a D3D engine/OS".
