Give it up! There is always a place for a bright lad in an icelandic fish processing plant!!!

If you can't motivate yourself then maybe programming isn't for you. I can't go a whole day without reading something about programming or writing something.

It would have inspired me to do something.

Now you've got to work on this yourself. We know nothing about you or where you are in the learning adventure that is programming.

If you are at the early stages where everything seems to big, nothing works, and a pointer is something you have on a compass, well, we were all there once. It suddenly drops into place, but you never finish the learning process - believe me - the pain continues.

If you are an advanced learner or beyond, well, then you really do have to think on whether or not you want to try cutting a career out of programming, or program a carrer out of cutting fish!

(I'm sure there are other things to do in Iceland as well - but it makes the point - I've never been to Iceland).
