just curoius id like to know a few things about dos....
1) can it actually move ( make a sidescroller )
2) how can i change the color of text? ( make it flash etc. )
3 ) any other cool things with dos?
any answer to these questions is greatly appreciated.

If you're talking about a Windows Console, try reading some MSDN pages.

A programmer here made this very simple, and i supply the file as well as an example code on my site, you can get there from my siggy, and i think its in downloads, may be tutorials.
