    Newbie

    gonan start to learn how to program games but i first need to know do i have the right tools?

    Texture and modeling

    3Dmax
    photoshop
    paintshop pro

    Coding

    Dev C++

    Compiler

    hmm

    First you'd need to know how to program in general. Programming games is a whole new realm of misery. So at the moment your list is:

    yes, im here to tell you first hand: if you want to make good 3D games, then youve got quite a bit of learning ahead of you...
    I came up with a cool phrase to put down here, but i forgot it...
