    i dotn like the deitel books, its not mine otherwise id sell it to you. i relally lke "c++ the complete reference second edition" by herbert schildt, i learned alot from that one

    Hey, I like Schildt- but some people do not like him. His C++ from the Ground Up is good. Also:

    C++ Primer Plus : by Prata is good

    I'd much rather learn C++ through a textbook than this "C++ For Dummies" that I picked up.

    I dont think hes emailing you because of your email addy has "hawaii" in it, that would be a lot of postage maybe? Ill take that book though

    No, postage to Hawaii is no different than to other parts of the US, except maybe parcel post, not sure about that. And UPS and FedEx are of course a different story. Besides, the whole point is that I would pay the postage...

    Sorry, I have not responded sooner. I got busy with more important things. Anyway, my dept chair took my text. She did not get the latest edition. Besides you can get the text for a resonable price at amazon or ebay.
