    quick allegro question

I quickly looked at the tutorials from loomsoft.net for allegro. When making an allegro program, you use Win32. In the programs used in the loomsoft tutorial, there is no creating a window or anything. It is much like a DOS program where you don't have to create a window, and if you don't create the window with a handle, the main message loop commonly used gets a little different or hard to implement, i think at least. know what i mean? I'm not at home so I can't test this, but can anybody explain this?

There is no main message loop. All of your code is contained in int main() or its sub-functions.
Naturally I didn't feel inspired enough to read all the links for you, since I already slaved away for long hours under a blistering sun pressing the search button after typing four whole words! - Quzah
