Well I know that when programming you should consider red, blue and GREEN as primary colors, but I've got a problem with that: I've recently taken some art classes, and they've learned me that the primary colors were red, blue and YELLOW...now they've showed me professional books, which all said it was YELLOW...
Now, why is it green in programming?

It's green everywhere isn't it?! Always has been!! Red, blue and green together give you white, i think!
If you mix red, blue & green light (A monitor or a TV) you get white. ( I think these are called 'additive' primary colors.)
If you mix red, blue & yellow paint (or ink) you get black. ('Subtractive" primary colors?)
So, printer drivers have to do some sort of conversion!

You got it backwards. Red, Blue, and Green are the primary colors of light. Red, Blue, and yellow are the primary colors of pigments. We all learned pigments in kindergarten (in you went to it). The color spectrum, however, was somehow evaded by my science teacher.
