Alright I just read the last post and I thinky you guys should stop jumping to conclusions! right now I'm taking a programming class that teaches us stuff like arrays, switchs, if else statements, etc. some pretty basic crap. All I want to do is code a chat software for our local intranet and I need to know where to start what exactly do I need to know to accomplish this! I dont want you guys to write it for me! I dont want you to go out of your way for me! I just want someone to tell me what I need to learn in order to create a simple chat software that exchanges messages between 2 computers on a network. It's like when I said I wanted to learn to program the teacher said you should start with cout and cin. Well I did now I need to know what to start with to code network chats. Please dont rant like the last post! I seriously need some help I am lost!
