this site has about the nicest tutorial a tutorial can get. cplusplus.com's tutorial is also pretty good. i also wrote a short tutorial on the concept/structure of C/C++ tutorial: http://kainga.ath.cx/~trisk/files/tutorial.html . not exactly the best, but i have no life :P

    As what I said before

The great book is the help file that attached to the C++ compiler that you have...

just click F1 and you will get a lot about it...

You can ask questions here as I do!

I'm using VC++.Net and I think the associated 'help'(if thats what you could call it) is more complicated than this language.

If you remember it I would be grateful and don't worry I don't expect to be able to learn C or C++ in 21 days but I am a beginner so I want to start with a few simple lessons and then move onto something more complicated.

    irc

ok irc is internet relay chat or something dont mind the name just know that you get an irc client (a program) many free ones to choose from choose the server and its a big chat thing with many channels to join and is a great way to ask questions for faster responses then useing a message board (i would still post here first). go to download.com and search for irc download one and it shouldnt be hard to figure out the rest. as for a book 'C++ for dummies' is what i started with its a decent book i recommand (spelled that wrong) it.
