Smile Newbie needs help with borland c++ builder vrs 6

Ok i just got the compiler and im not used to this interface.

Problem: when i run my program it pops up with a form thing now i tried building a form that would display my cout statements but it wont work.

If anybody knows anything about borland c++ builder vrs 6 Please give me an e-mail or post how to get cout statements to display in a window.

what's a "form thing" . . . if it's anything like the thing from the movie "the thing" stay away from that thing, don't touch the thing, or else the thing will get inside you and you become the thing . . .

Create a console project, not a windows GUI project. Your cout will then work.

And... did you actually buy a near 2K us dollar compiler even before learning a bit of C++? Whoa!
