Dats pretty dumb, i hear questions about graphics all the time, and yet none are ever answered good. i dont think thats cool, i mean, newbies, programmers, they all come here for questions, and when ever someone asks about graphics, (atleast for me and my friends) we allways get something that never works. we just want an example, not some whole freakin 1 week tutorial!!!

Well there are really four strata of programmers here:
Those that are learning C++
Those that know C++ but do not know/are learning Windows programming <-- ME
Those that know C++ and Windows but not any graphics implementation
Those that know C++, WinAPI, and some graphics lib
The first two boards house the first two, mainly.
Windows Programming is a hangout of the third group.
Game Programming is the best place to ask graphics questions.

Graphics is a difficult area of programming and usually an example is far from simple and almost never short. Usually you'll be left in more of a state of confusion than you were when you started. I try to answer the graphics questions as best I can, but being a systems programmer who doesn't work with a screen most of the time, I'm a bit shy on graphics knowledge.

I am working on it as we speak(well, as we type and look and wait..) I am just studying tons of API right now, and thinking of other concepts of how I can do this. I am working on loading bmps, icos, jpgs, gifs into a picturebox's hDC. Don't worry, it shall be accomplished.
