    Successor to Modern C++ Design

    Modern C++ Design (Alexandrescu) was published 2001 and AFAIK there hasn't been any updates or second edition since.
    What, in the opinion of this forum, would be a good book on C++ design incorporating C++11?
    Thanks

    Just a good book for beginners C++ Primer.

    The author of Herb Sutter is very good.
    I downloaded a book today morning, and here is a good book, I like very, very sensible, sensible reading with joy.

    Dmy - thank you
    I also came across this website Design Patterns which is quite useful and for some of the specific design patterns there are also examples in C++
