    Thumbs up compiler

Is a Microsoft Visual C++ worth buying? I am saving up for it, becuase i'm sick of using a cheap compiler, but I don't know whether it is worth buying it.

I've used MSVC 6.0 at work and I've found its C++ properties a bit inadequate. It doesn't support templates properly. In other hand Borland's builder supports C++ where MSVC fails, but I've found the Borland's program somewhat hard to use. Or then I haven't just accustomed to it.
