Have you attempted this at all? If so it's a great idea to post the source code of your attempts and people can then help.

It's very unlikely (actually, probably impossible) that anyone here will do the assignments for you. So, what's a good strategy? I think that it'd be a good idea if you read the problems and tried your best to implement them and then ask specific questions regarding problems you encounter.

You don't have to do the questions in order, so choose one that you think you can do and give it a go. For the questions where you're less sure of what to do, grab a piece of paper and try and work out how you'd do it -- step-by-step until a solution is yielded. You must know how to solve the problems "on paper" (or conceptually in your head) before you can start. So start at the beginning and start asking yourself "how might I do this?" Don't worry about details. When you have this broad outline of how to approach the problem then look at details, one by one, joining them together until the solution is, well, obvious.

Edit: I meant to add, while you're working on paper, don't worry about c++ at all! Write it in plain English or your spoken language of choice.

I'm not trying to sound harsh (honestly) but maybe you should have started earlier? Free rides in real life are very rare indeed and maybe the only thing you will learn from this assignment/whatever-it-is that the only person you can always rely on is YOU. Post your attempts...

it says this is the "project for finals." if this is for finals, shouldn't you have learned something about how to do this before now? if you've been in this C++ programming class for a full grading term, and you still don't even know how to do these relatively simple tasks, it's possible that you're just not well suited for a career in software development. there's no shame in that, but it would be a good idea to realize it sooner rather than later. even if you still think you are suited for this sort of thing, you're not going to get anywhere by being lazy and pushing your work off on others. what you're asking us all to do is to help you cheat, and that's something we will not do.
What can this strange device be?
When I touch it, it gives forth a sound
It's got wires that vibrate and give music
What can this thing be that I found?
