    Question Byte location

    How would I go about locating a certain byte in a file and saving it to another file? Like for instance, locating byte number 100 and capturing the data from byte 101 to byte 200 to another file?

    I am just learning and could use all the advice I can get.

    Thank you,

    The thing you need is seekp / seekg
    But I dont know C++
    If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
    If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.
