Recommendation on good C++ texts and docs

    Hello everyone!

I am acutally writing this post out of frustration. I am presently taking a C++ class and the textbook is just plain terrible. I find it very hard to find answers to my questions and it has absolutely not helped in any of my researches.

Since the semester is almost over, I would like to spend this summer learning more about C++ on my own using any documentation that is clear and that gives exercices to do.

If anyone could recommend a few good C++ textbooks (with the ISBN number if at all possible) or any URL's it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your time and thank you for helping in some of my researches.

but in rising every time we fall."

I found the following book to be very understandable for c++ beginners

    Computer Science
A Structured Programming Approach Using C++
By: Behrouz A. Forouzan & Richard F. Gilberg
    ISBN: 0-534-95207-0
    simple is always an understatement.....
