Thread: Visual C++ 2008 express program icon

Hi,

I am trying to change the program's icon (the one which appears on the taskbar, the .exe file and the upper left of the program's window) but I'm having no luck. I started with an 'empty project', and I have made a program with a console window only - very simple. I have a 64x64 .ico file which I want to add to it - I can't seem to find out how.

Use "Add resource" to add your icon. Here's a post that may help.
