Just use code::blocks and make sure you name your source files as prog.cpp (if you want C++) or prog.c (if you want C)
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.

Code::Blocks is an IDE, hence it does not come with a compiler.
That said, there is a link on Code::Block's homepage that bundles a compiler with the IDE. For the least trouble getting started, I'd recommend you just download that.

Outside of your DOS world, your header file is meaningless.
