I Do Not Have A CodeBlocks Folder.... Need Another Way To Install SDL

I've read the tutorial on the cprogramming.com webpage ( very good btw! =) ) And one on lazyfoo's webpage, but both are asking you to put certain files into the codeblocks folder.... well, I looked everywhere and I seem not to have one. When I installed CodeBlocks, the .exe only appeared on my desktop, nothing else. Can any one help me?

I have already downloaded all the necessary SDL files and have extracted them.

Mmm, the only thing I have on my desktop is an icon as well - but it also has a link arrow in it as well.

Just pointing at it shows a tooltip to C:\Program Files\CodeBlocks
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.

Thanks for the tip =)... Yeah sometimes I forget I can easily do stuff like that, but I found another way around the problem. But I am having trouble with uploading somethings... I can now compile and run the source code that comes with SDL PROJECT in codeblocks, but when I try to run other programs, it compiles and runs but nothing except a black screen appears. I'm extremely new to SDL, but I think it had to do with certain files not being in the folder..? Oh well, I have plenty time to read up!
