c with opencv

i am struggling with this function i got error like unsupport format "only 32fc1 and 64fc1 are supported "
the function is
cvDCT(imag1,img2,0);
both imag1 and img2 are iplimage,
i want to do dct transform , can anyone ,plz tell me , thanks
