    How to Compile?

    Hey guys, new C++ programmer. How can I compile some files I made a while back? My free version of Visual Studio has expired so I'm kinda stuck.

    I have three files.

    pkg.c
    tools.h
    type.h

    And wish to compile them into pkg.exe. It's supposed to be run through cmd so does that make a difference on how I compile?

    You can switch to the express version, which is free but not a trial version.
