Thread: U make Program? No, I make program that controls devices!

Now. I have this litle project with my friend. And we would need some advices. Ok So problem is this: How do you add code for devices. Lets take a litle example, I would like to watch my CPU temperature from my desktop and maybe adjust that. So I have some swiches inside the machine and I would need to adjust those switches with Program. So how I add the Switch (that is inside the computer) to the code. Is it like an object or what?
