I went out yesterday and bought Visual C++, thinking for sure that my P4, 1.6 gig, 256 RAM computer could handle it.....
i sat down at my computer and put the first CD in. after a few seconds to read the CD, my computer comes up with the message
Could not find the file:
and no files are listed. so needless to say i became frustrated. i started looking around online for other things i might need. i finally decided to read the system requirements, thinking it might list something that i didnt have on my computer
Windows NT/2000/XP
suddenly, with the thought that i had just spent $100 on a program that i will never be able to run on my computer without buying a new OS (and its a work computer, i probably wont be able to upgrade without a hassle), i became very depressed.
how can i solve this problem and still have these outcomes:
> I have Visual C++ on my computer
> I dont have to spend much, if any, money
> I have this problem solved by at least tomorrow
> No one I know is found strangled by the end of the day
i am using windows 98, btw
