    Setting my compiler..(for a rookie)??

i read the instruction abouthow to set the compiler Code::blocks..
in step 3, however, i didnt understand the part were it says:

After clicking "Next", Code::Blocks will then prompt you with where you'd like to save the console application: I'd recommend you put it in its own folder, as it may create several files (this is especially true if you create other types of projects). You will need to give your project a name, anything will be fine.

    where should i save it?

For me I have either created a Projects folder or my handy C_Forums folder. Then I just place my IDE bundled project in those folders as necessary. I am not entirely sure on Code Blocks, but if you do not specify a location, I am sure it has its own default, perhaps in your own home/root directory by the project name you have given it?

Test it out and see. Testing and validating output and results is nothing new I hope as you should be doing that quite often in coding!
