    Clearing Prompt?


    Are there any commands/libraries out there to clear the screen of a command line application for Windows and MS-DOS?

    I am using Dev-C++ for Windows, RHIDE with G++ for DOS.
    (Linux/Unix G++ would be a bonus!)

    The only other solution I found was:
    But it's too slow for the rate I want to refresh the command line at. (ASCII animation anyone?) I also don't feel like calling to the operating system.
