    Play .wav files?

    Hey, I would like to know how to play .wav files without using big libaries like allegro.

    Study the format of a wave-file and study how to program the soundcard. You need to read the wave-file and send the data to the soundcard.

    you can get the format at www.wotsit.org or if you're doing windows, i'm sure it has provisions for doing so.

    actully its just a advance rpg game in plain text.. i dont know how to make it in windows would be cool to have a windows interface though(a text box)

    Those are easy if you can afford Visual C or Borland C++Builder.

    But nobody can.

    actulyl i do have both (illegal copies), they arnt hard to find on the net
