    System locale

    Is there any standard way to test what system your code is being compiled on? I've seen it done like
    Code:
    #ifdef WIN32__UNDERSCORE_GARBAGE_MACRO_THING
    //WIN32-dependent code
    #endif
    What are these macros for different compilers?

    If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
    If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.
