    Strerror equivalent function

    Hi
I am trying to find a function which does the same operation as strerror.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

In what context? What is it that you want it to do that strerror() doesn't, or are you saying that you don't have a strerror() in your system, or something else?

Perhaps posting the actual compiler error (and your actual compiler details), we could offer an alternative.

Perhaps even, it's just that you're not including the right header file or the right namespace.
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.
