    Timer?? and a Click???

    Hello,

    I was thinking about making a metronome for myself to use on my desktop when I'm playing guitar........

    But I'm kinda lost on the whole timer thing and than on how to incorporate a click sound (or block of wood) ....I haven't programmed in about 3 months and to be honest I feel like a totally noob!! Can someone steer me in the proper direction....

    For timing, check the FAQ.

    For sound, use your platform's API, or some cross-platform API. You could use Windows's PlaySound(), for example.

    Google is nothing short of useful.
