    Question zip code

I've found several zip libraries, but I am looking for the actual code that does the zipping, not some remote functions that does it for me. Know where I can find any?

What do you need to do? zlib supports compression/decompression.

Ah, I didn't know zlib was open-source; thanks.
    (7-zip is over my head)
I'm just compressing raw data within a file.
