A note about the coming contests
Hello everyone... as many of you know, i've been chosen as the next Contest Master. If you have any suggestions or questions, don't hesitate to post them to the contest board (this one), send me an email ([email protected] or [email protected] once that's setup) or join the IRC channel. (see below)

I intend on running two sets of contests, one each weekend, plus a bi/tri/quad-weekly one. I'd like one other helper for the speed coding contests. (run each weekend) If you'd like to be this lucky person, contact me. Note: This involves judging as well as running the contests when i'm away. Judges for the bi-weekly contests will be chosen along side the contestants. I don't want the contest to turn into all judge and no contestant like they have in the past... so here's how the judging will work: For each two contestants, there will be one electable judge. The judge will not be chosen on a first-come first-server basis... they will be chosen by myself and possibly the mods.

Speed coding contests will be run in #cprogramming.com on DALnet. See http://www.dal.net for info on connecting. Please come and show your support for a cprogramming.com chat channel.

If you're looking for an IRC client, see http://www.mirc.com
